Pale peeps and spray tanning!

For my previous shows I have used the JanTana comp kit and while its easy to do, I would prefer to get sprayed and have the tan be one less thing to worry about...BUT, I am very pale and I'm concerned that the spray wont be dark enough for my skin.

I thought of doing 1-2 coats myself before getting sprayed, to be on the safe side but I'm not sure if I HAVE to.....

Any thoughts?

I am whiter than you, and I've found three coats of protan and a spray tan before the show does well for me. I've also used JT but didnt like how it came off so easily during contest day.
On the other hand, Joe recommended my client Holly get a spray tan the night before and the day of the show. She looked really good. I'd say stay with the spray tan, as long as they know what they are doing.

Agreed, and the sprayer is the same from the April show.

If it eases your mind Nicole, do a coat of the Jan Tana the morning of Friday.
But all in all, you probably dont need it.

I REALLY liked how the spray-tanning color looked on you Nic last nite as well as on Dave. Very dark & even color......I will definitely go this route the next go 'round.

Heidi was incredible...Her attention to detail was amazing! She is definitely my go-to tan girl for the future!

Very impressed with the color on both of you!  Will also go that route next time. Nic did you do any coats of JT before you got sprayed?

Nope! I was totally clean and all it took was 2 coats friday night to get that color...The glaze was also just sprayed on...SO EASY!

Heidi did a great job - she was just awesome and the tanning could not be easier. Well worth the cost!!
