i have done this in the past but wanted to get some other opinions experiences with this. if you have used this did you use any other carb prior to going on stage within the hour of going on stage...if so what?
when do you typically eat your last protein/carb meal on show day prior to pre-judging and finals?
Maybe someone else can chime in, but of recent years not a fan of either. Although I did try them out years back, its just a crap shoot and to me will not make much a difference if you are ripped.

thanks joe...so what do i eat before going on stage? typically i have had chocolate but reading confirmed what i as feeling...bloated. then i came across an article on Vitargo. Never had it before. but basically waxy maize/dextrose/malodextrin i guess would be in that class. i have seen others drink a carbonated drink. basically oatmeal and some chicken one hour before a workout i get a great pump so thinking that i will just stick to that but 2hours before stage...thoughts please :).
What you have before prejudge usually is in line with your peak week and how you dieted down for the show. Now, I do suggest to have something that is high in fat/carbs/sodium, and not to cut water as you want to fill up.
But it would not be fair to give away too much as many people on this board are actual clients of mine in some fashion. Hope you understand.
Of course i understand. I plan on next show season to hire someone to help me out. I am getting better and better with each show. learning from others and applying. But i am tired of not peaking and not knowing what i need to do in order to peak. I appreciate all your responses and other board members too. You guys have really hepled me out for this upcoming show...i am 201 today (9pounds lighter than Sept 13th's show). so i am excited to compete knowing that i am in better condition than before.
